I'm Mike, founder of the company and the person you're most likely to see at any of our events / markets. More than likely sporting a t-shirt with a dinosaur or dodo! 

Jurassic Park in 1993 was the single biggest influence for my love of dinosaurs. It was truly incredible to see these amazing prehistoric creatures come to life, I have always been fascinated by their enduring appeal to people of all ages and the huge volume of dinosaur products out there in the retail sector. 

The idea for focusing on very different, vibrant gifts came from my own frustrations when shopping for gifts in seeing the same items over and over with the same palate of dull colours. Having lived in Southern England most of my life - born in the stunning Jurassic Coast area - tourist gift shops and markets selling memorabilia were very common but I'd always felt the market needed more life and soul.

I had been selling vintage clothing via online auction sites and gradually started to incorporate items I had designed myself, the most successful being a dinosaur beach towel. I started a monthly craft fair in Salisbury City in late 2022 . In early 2023 I started growing the stock lines . By Easter 2023 I was doing weekly craft fairs across several southern cities and developing a very small website. By Christmas of 2023 I started as a Saturday trader at the bustling Salisbury City Market.

Zoom forward to now: I do weekly markets in Salisbury, Chichester and Winchester with various shows & events including Comic Cons, Art Fairs, Country Shows and festivals in the south coast area. I also have items for sale in museums, art galleries, emporiums and play cafes - it is quite incredible how the popularity has grown.

2025 looks like a busy one as we are venturing toward Devon for markets with more appearances in Dorset being worked on and have numerous events planned much further afield including Stratford-Upon-Avon. 

My partner is a very experienced Primary School Teacher and often helps me at events - her passion for positive, engaging learning is going to be a strong focus for me going forward as I look to develop the business with some very exciting projects and products being worked on as we speak!
